Parliamentary Committee for Media elected

Parliament yesterday elected the new members of the permanent Parliamentary Committee for Media. The ruling CSSD party has 6 representatives on the committee, while the ODS has 5, KSCM 3, KDU-CSL 2 and US-DEU 1.

Among the committe members are Katerina Dostalova and Ivan Langer (ODS), Miroslav Grebenicek (KSCM), Vlasta Parkanova (KDU-CSL) and Hana Marvanova (US-DEU). The task of the committee is to prepare qualified opinions for MPs concerning legislation on media.
