Siemens move may mean jobs in Hungary

Germany's Siemens AG is planning to move 10,000 jobs from its software development center in Germany to various accession countries in CEE, according to unnamed sources.

Sysdata Kft, a member of the Hungarian subsidiary group Siemens Rt, may see an increase in its workforce in the future, according to Siemens Rt CEO Péter Hetényi, who added that the German parent company considers Sysdata an important development center.

Siemens also plans to move part of its production capacity and company management to the region, sources say.
